Should breast pumps be tax deductible?   The IRS announced that breast pumps would be tax deductible, alongside such medical “flex” expenditures like contact solution and bandages.  Now two Mommy Michelles – Obama and Bachmann – are coming down on two different sides of the issue.   Michelle Obama wants to promote breastfeeding  in the African American community, where according to Obama, 40% of women don’t currently breastfeed.   Michelle Bachmann says she doesn’t take issue with breastfeeding – only with the federal government providing tax incentives to promote it.
